Writing must run in the family. Thanks for the Roche sisters memory. (I think) I love their music and the song reminded me of things I might not want to remember. Nice to find you here on the Stack.

Karin, first of all what a great writer you are. I read this slowly yesterday, enjoyed every sentence. I think 90% of what you shared about your Amma I did not know. Isn't that strange? So from that standpoint alone, it was fascinating, thrilling and inspiring. What a profile in love and courage. Also YES! Gertrude is right we're all in the same boat.
